Care and comfort for your feline family.
At Sits & Wiggles, we know cats thrive on routine, comfort, and a little bit of personal space. Our Cat Sitting service ensures your kitty feels safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away, without ever leaving home. From feeding and litter box care to playtime, cuddles, and daily updates, we tailor each visit to your cat’s unique personality and preferences. Whether your cat is a social butterfly or an independent spirit, we make sure they get the attention and care they deserve in Bel Air and surrounding Harford County communities.

Because Every Cat Has Their Own Rules
Whether your cat is a total lap lover, a laser pointer maniac, or a dignified creature who tolerates your presence, we’re here to keep their routine running smoothly while you’re away.
Our cat sitting visits are completely customized to your feline family's needs. Some cats are cool with one visit a day. Others demand a bit more attention (and we’re happy to oblige). We offer visit options from 20 minutes up to a full hour, depending on what suits your cats best.
We do require at least one visit per day during your trip because even the most independent cats need fresh food, clean litter, and a little company.
If extra time is needed for big litter box messes or accident clean-ups, additional fees may apply. We promise to handle it all with care, gloves, and a good sense of humor.
And just to be clear: we do not allow indoor cats to go outside while under our care unless you have a fully enclosed cat-safe space. Outdoor-only cats? We’re happy to look after them too.
Your cats, your routine, our expert care. It’s that simple.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What’s included in a cat visit?
A cat visit includes all the daily essentials your cat needs while you’re away. Fresh food and water, litter box scooping, and a quick wellness check to make sure your kitty looks comfortable and is acting like themselves. We also tailor the “extras” to your cat’s personality. That can mean playtime, brushing, window watching company, or simply a calm presence for cats who prefer their space.
How often should you visit my cat?
Most cats do best with at least one visit per day while you’re away, so they stay on a steady routine and we can keep a close eye on eating, litter box habits, and overall wellbeing.
If your cat is social, needs medication, is older, or you’ll be gone more than a couple days, we usually recommend two visits per day. That extra check-in can make a big difference in comfort and safety.
For very independent cats, one daily visit is often plenty, but we’ll help you choose the right schedule based on your cat’s personality and your home setup here in Bel Air and the surrounding Harford County area.
Will you spend time playing with my cat?
Yes. If your cat is into playtime, we absolutely make time for it during the visit.
What if my cat hides from strangers?
Totally normal. A lot of cats go into “stranger danger” mode, especially at the start.
If your cat hides, we **don’t force interaction**. We’ll speak softly, move calmly, and give them space while we take care of the essentials like food, fresh water, and the litter box. We’ll also do a **visual check** where we can, and we’ll note their behavior in the visit update so you know whether this feels like typical hiding or something we should keep a closer eye on.
If hiding continues or we cannot confirm your cat is okay, we’ll follow your instructions for that situation and contact you right away.
Do you handle medication?
Yes. We can handle many common pet medications during visits in Bel Air and across Harford County, MD, as long as you provide clear instructions.
We’ll follow your routine exactly, document it in your visit update, and let you know right away if anything seems off, like a refused pill, vomiting, or stress behaviors. For more specialized meds or tricky administration, we’ll talk through your pet’s needs ahead of time so we can confirm it’s a good fit and set everyone up for success.
Will you send updates?
Yes. For cat sitting visits, you’ll get an update after each visit through your client portal.
We’ll include the essentials like food and water, litter box notes, and a quick wellbeing check, plus any social details that matter. Did they play, come out for love, hang back and observe. If anything seems off, like not eating, tummy trouble, or a behavior change, we’ll reach out right away.
